Pastor Herman L Love III is the founding Pastor of Life Touch Ministries Church of God in Christ.  Pastor Love confessed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 14 while attending the Eaton Rapids Holiness Methodist Campground Meeting.  Shortly after returning home, he received the baptism of the Holy Ghost.  

     

     During his teen years, Pastor Love recognized the call of ministry on his life and began a Youth Outreach Fellowship along with his two best friends in the basement of his home, which consisted of prayer and Bible study.  Due to the rapid growth the Fellowship moved from his basement to the local community center.

   

      In 2001, Pastor Love was ordained an Elder in the Church of God in Christ in Detroit, Michigan under the late Bishop P.A Brooks and appointed Assistant Pastor of Conquerors of Faith Ministries in Detroit, Michigan by Pastor Sam Moore.  In 2003, Pastor Love launched a mission church called Greater Joy Temple Ministries in Ypsilanti, Michigan.  In 2013, after much prayer and consecration Pastor Love and the congregation formed Life Touch Ministries Church of God in Christ.  

     

     With over 30 years of evangelistic ministry and over 20 years of Pastoral ministry, Pastor Love has served in various capacities in the local, District, and State such as: Youth Pastor, Music President, Assistant Pastor, District Music and Youth President, District Chairman, Jurisdictional Evangelism President, Assistant Jurisdictional Secretary, Jurisdictional Secretary of Finance, Jurisdictional Chairman of Finance, District Superintendent of the Kingdom Life District, and recently appointed Administrative Assistant to Bishop Charles J. Johnson III in the Michigan Eastern Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ in 2024. 

     

     Outside of the church, Pastor Herman Love is a father and grandfather.  He has a passion for writing, authoring three books.  God has favored him to travel as an evangelist and serve as a resource for Pastors and peers.  His educational background consists of Willow Run Community Public Schools, Washtenaw Community College, and the C.H Mason Bible Institute in Detroit, Michigan. Humbled by God's grace, Pastor Love continues to preach and teach the gospel compelling sinners to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and equipping the body of Christ to live victoriously in all areas of life.
